SERIES SUMMARY (by wiki):
Set during the end of a nineteenth century on a fictional Earth, D.Gray-man mostly centers around 15-year-old Allen Walker, who is gifted with the ability to control a weaponized form of a divine substance from ages past, called Innocence, and becomes an Exorcist of the Black Order. This secretive organization aims to stop the plan set in motion by the Millennium Earl to destroy all life on Earth, thus 'cleansing' it. But the Earl has raised an army of Akuma, created by taking advantage of grief over a loved one's death, and summoned the direct descendants of Noah himself, the 13-strong Noah Clan, to aid him in his second attempt. Because of the Akuma's ability to wear a human's skin, they are nearly undetectable by any human. Allen proves to be a powerful asset as his 'cursed' left eye is able to detect the Akuma. And the battle for the survival of the human race.
INNOCENCE TYPES
"A" refers to Equipment-types.
"B" refers to Parasitic-types.
"C" refers to Crystal-types.
The three types of innocence are listed above. In the following text, each type is described. Sub-types are listed below the main three types. All in all, there are eight types, eight possibilities on what your innocence can be.
In D.Gray-Man, there were 109 piece of innocence in the world. After the B.B. Events, all innocence was destroyed. However, as if in response to the second coming of the akuma, Earl, and the Noah, innocence has begun to reappear.
Innocence that has been crafted into anti-akuma weapons have two known levels. Depending on the user's skill level, they may be able to unlock the second level, thus unlocking more power. Some weapons change slightly in shape.

LENALEE LEE
* Onkyou no Tougi: Otokase (Stepping Skill of Sound: "Sound Shackles"): Lenalee becomes able to interface with sound waves, solidifying the sound of each step into a surface, which allows her to travel at the speed of sound.
* Suijou no Tougi: Mizukase (Stepping Skill of Water: "Water Shackles"): Lenalee becomes able to interface with water, enabling her to walk on liquid surfaces.
* Enbu: Kirikaze (Waltz: "Mist-Wind"): Lenalee stirs up a destructive tornado with a whirling kick of her Dark Boots.
* Shittsui no Tougi: Tetsukase (Falling Footwork: "Iron Shackles"): Upon maximum invocation, Lenalee's power condenses unto her Dark Boots, meshing them into a morass of blades, carrying an oppressive weight.
KANDA YU
* Kaichuu: Ichigen (First Illusion: Hell's Insects): Kanda swings his sword and releases a small swarm of supernatural creatures that devour his opponents.
* Nigentou (Double Illusion Blades): Kanda covers his sword and scabbard in a coat of energy and generates an energy blade, creating two impossibly sharp weapons.
* Hakka Tourou (Eight Flowers Praying Mantis): Using Nigentou, Kanda quickly slashes the enemy eight times. The slashes collectively resemble a flower.
* Shouka (Sublimate): Kanda activates the power of his tattoo, and his pupil changes into three dots. Veins also rise around his eyes. Once Shouka is activated, Kanda can activate Sangenshiki.
* Sangenshiki (Taboo Three Illusions): Kanda drastically increases his speed and strength at the cost of some of his life.
LAVI
* Hi Ban: Gouka Kaijin (Fire Seal: Conflagration of Ash): Lavi uses the Fire seal to create a torrent of flames in the form of a snake.
* Ten Ban: Raitei Kaiten (Heaven Seal: Thundering Lightning Whirling in the Skies): Lavi uses the Heaven seal to generate a vast storm of lightning.
* Moku Ban: Tenchi Bankai (Wood Seal: Roots Entwining Heaven and Earth): Lavi uses the Wood seal to control objects in nature (i.e. the clouds).
* Konbo Ban: Gouraiten (Combo Seal: Strong Thunder of the Heavens): Lavi uses both the Fire and the Heaven seals to create a huge snake of fire and iron. He can also create a shield-like flame wall.
(All of these are level two attacks. The hammer can only shrink and grow in its level one stage.)

~Energy-type (Weapon forms from thin air due to the power of the innocence worn on a necklace/bracelet/ring/etc. Comes in handy, seeing as how you don't need to carry the weapon around. Innocence can be repaired by using the energy [in the air, trees, and even close-range people] around the user, but cannot be repaired if the crystal inside the necklace/bracelet/ring is broken.)
~Thought-type A (User creates weapon just by envisioning it once their innocence is activated. Innocence is worn on a necklace/bracelet/ring/etc. Similar to Energy-type, but has more room for variety. [i.e.: Instead of being able to form one single weapon, the user can think up a multitude of weapons and will them into existence. However, they can only use one of these many weapons at a time, but CAN switch them out during battle.])

<> Parasitic-type - User is born with the innocence crystal embedded into their flesh. Able to transform the innocence-attached part of their body into a weapon. Can form different weapons based on their emotions, but only if said emotions are incredibly strong can a new form be attained. Also, even if the user is in no condition to be moved or unconscious and they are still in battle, the parasitic anti-akuma weapon can still move on its own. As long as there are akuma to be defeated, the parasitic anti-akuma weapon will continue to fight if the user is knocked out or has absolutely no strength left. If the user has even a tiny bit of energy left or is still conscious, the weapon will not move on its own. Sometimes, the parasitic anti-akuma weapon is not perfected, and the user must come to an epiphany as to why they fight in order to unlock the true strength of the weapon.

<> Crystal-type - An evolution of the Equipment-type which may happen if the innocence is destroyed. Tends to make the part of the user's body which controlled the Equipment-type weapon (i.e.: legs if the weapon was boots, arms if they were swords, etc.) immobile, for some time. If the innocence decides to give the user a second chance, it becomes liquefied. When the user drinks it, the host body will either reject the substance and the user will die or the innocence will jump out of the user's skin, causing open wounds and heavy cross-shaped scarring, then proceed to form into a weapon similar to the previous one, made entirely from the user's blood. Very rare. Only seen to happen once.

SYNCHRONIZATION RATE
The synchronization rate (also known as the "sync rate") is the percentage of how likely you are able to activate your innocence (turn it into its weapon form). The higher the number, the better the chance. Average is around 86%.

Highest ranking Noah are the ones who hold memories from the B.B. Noah. (Rage, Pleasure, Lust/Form, Bond, Dream, Hatred.) The lesser Noah (though they are still very important, they are just not as well respected as the ones who hold the B.B. Memories) include memories of things like joy, will, cunning, despair, drama, pressure (stress), and other emotions as well.

Sign-ups will ALWAYS be open, even as the RP progresses. If you haven't gotten your sign-up in yet, then you just can't come in until you enter it here and it is approved. This maybe a good thing. We don't want a ton of peoples' stories all bunched together in one Chapter, ya know?
And yes, it will be divided into parts called "Chapters", even though they probably won't be as short as regular chapters. ("Volumes" may be more accurate, but we don't want like... 20 or 30 volumes.) I think after a major plot twist (that I'm very much looking forward to), we might be able to close the previous chapters off into one volume. In all, there may be two or three volumes, with around twelve or so chapters in each book.
At the beginning of each chapter, there will be a "Cast" list. If your name is on the list, you are needed for this chapter. If you are in the "Extra's" list, then you are allowed to post, but not be part of the main plotline. Example: If Lisa and Reagan are doing something relevant to the plot, they don't want to be interrupted. Extras are allowed to post at the end. Like Nick, if you're an Extra, your character could have a scene where he's walking around or something, and it should start to connect somewhat to the main characters (the people in the North American Branch). If not, fine, but if you're an Extra, odds are that you are going to be given a big part in the next chapter.
I've always wanted to do an RP like this. I hope it doesn't sound too controlling. ^_^;; You'll thank me when you see how the plot unfolds...
EDIT: AFTER THE FIRST CHAPTER, THE RP WILL BE OPEN TO ALL.

Yep, I finally got the innocence types done. =)
BTW, the only ones allowed to have and use NPCs (non-playable characters, like the Earl and the original characters I have created for the storyline) are Foxxi and myself, since we know where the plot is going. RP rules are coming soon.
Also, let me remind you that you should have surnames based on your own ethnicity or the ethnicity of your real surname. (That means if you're not Japanese, don't have a Japanese surname.)

--September 9th, 2007 – Ravyn has the dream of the Earl, telling her that she is the Noah of Shadows and is woken up by the pain in her head of the stigmata's forming.
--September 10th, 2007 – The worldwide Akuma attacks kill Ravyn's family. The Akuma help Ravyn, bringing her to the Earl.
--September 21st, 2007 – Ravyn figures out how to use part of her power; starts practicing with the aid of Akuma.
--September 24th, 2007 – Ravyn drops out of school.
--October 31st, 2007 – Halloween. Ravyn kills a family as they trick-or-treat past the house where she is staying in Washington DC. It is the first real kill that she has had.
--December 14th, 2007 – Ravyn masters her gift and is now able to transport others with her through shadows.
--January 19th, 2008 – Gets snowed in before she is able to go on a trip with a friend (who knows nothing that Ravyn is a Noah). Goes on a killing spree in a mall and disappears before cops show up.
--March 2nd, 2008 – Ravyn meets Reagan while in Virginia looking around, at Reagan's school. Becomes friends. Doesn't show her that she's a Noah and is unaware that Reagan is an Exorcist.
--June 3rd, 2008 – Ravyn continues practicing with her power, going with Akuma. Visits Reagan. Still doesn't show her true self.
--August 10th, 2008 – Things continue as usual.
Other: Whenever Ravyn wears her hair up in a pony tail (always a high one), she has to wear a choker necklace, or earrings, or both. She likes punk and usually dresses like so. She doesn't like sweet stuff so much, but has a thing for tootsie roll pops, and almost always has one. She loves rock and metal (music) and loves bright colors. Almost all the time her clothing is very brightly colored.

Yeah it took me a while to get my history right...
